Cobalt: 2. there are three people he identifies as "his."
Cobalt: "The one who offers herself" is probably you, and "the one with burned hands" is ...jay, you said? i have no idea who "five-in-one" might be but perhaps you do.
Cobalt: if things get crazy at some point, maybe a person who is "his" can help him more than someone who is "not his."
Cobalt: 3. when i asked him what makes him happy, he said he wanted anything that gave him power -- to defeat his enemies, protect his people, and control his own freedom
Cobalt: i'm not a psychologist or anything but if these are his primary objectives in this form, it may be easier to predict how he might respond to certain things
Cobalt: for example, if being in control is what he needs to feel okay, taking control away from him might be upsetting
Cobalt: so in retrospect i'm glad we didn't try to lock him in a room
