[his breath catches right as their lips meet, and he winds his arms around her neck, kissing back easily. it feels both familiar and unfamiliar, and he wants to explore that duality]

[ there's a subtlety to the way he's different, new softness in new places aside, and she can't make herself be shy about smoothing her hands up his sides, over his back, pressing herself in against him.

she presses in against him, testing his lips with her tongue. it's tender, but there's heat in it. ]

[he hums low in his throat and parts his lips so she can explore his mouth, body shifting under her touch. he can feel the heat radiating between them, as their bodies align in new ways]

[ she shifts a little, one hand cradling the back of his head and combing into his hair, the other ghosting over his front and settling just lightly over his chest, feeling out the changes.

just... a little squeeze, a little drag of her fingers, through the thin barrier of shirt fabric. ]

[he inhales sharply when her fingers touch his chest--there's just the shirt, so it's easy to feel his nipples grow taut through the fabric. he breaks the kiss to catch his breath, murmuring]

[his brow furrows and his lips part with a shaky exhale, glancing down at her hand on his chest and trying very hard to think clearly. for once he's stumbling over his words, scrambling to try and form a simple sentence]

[ she pulls back, teasing her fingers through his hair, and setting her other hand on his hip. ]

she kicks off her boots in the meantime. ]

Well, I’m not sure it’s my specialty enough to teach well, but we could stay in the shallows, anyway. I’ll make sure you don’t get swept away.

[ she strips off her jacket, hikes up her pant legs to her knees, and then offers her arm. ]

[he rises and takes her arm, leaving his cane behind. they walk along the shoreline where the waves come up over the sand. eventually raven will wade into the water a little, enough for it to come up past his ankles, midway to his calves]

The water's not as warm as I'd thought it would be.

I guess since it's a really large body of water... even if it's a warm day, it's probably a lot of water to keep at that temperature.

Probably bothers me less since I run a little cold...

[ she kicks her feet through the water a little bit. tiny splash. ]

It's... nice, since we seem to be in summer, now.
