Sometimes I worry that I'm... to needy, or boring, not one of the people really moving and influencing things in this place. I mean, I am really dependent on people, and I sort of hate it. I want to be free, I want to be strong, but I want to be loved, but wanting it so badly makes me feel so selfish. Like I'm not good enough. Now I know that I'm not some uncontrollable monster, but I still hate myself.

But I love you. I love you so much. Love poem level, you know.

...every little thing in the whole world has always felt worthy and deserving of love to me, which is why, I guess, it broke me to see how cruel the world could be.

Which isn't to say that you're not special to me, because you definitely are—I mean, I love hearing you talk about all the new things you find to be passionate about, even just sitting quietly and reading together, trying new things... but you don't ever have to feel like you need to meet some standard.

[ and so she bends down to cup her face in both her hands and kiss her, right then and there. ]

It's definitely a happy glow. I'm in the arms of a strong beautiful woman who's taking me to see a probably ridiculous movie. This is what life is for.
